PROMIS@Service Sarl is a young company which was established in 2008 in Luxemburg with the goal to bring: the PROMIS Service (www.promis.eu) into the European markets, at the moment: Austria, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom.

PROMIS (http://www.promis.eu) is a process-oriented, multilingual, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Compliance Integrated Management System. As a subscription-based service, PROMIS® helps small and medium sized organisations to deal with a complex regulatory environment, to structure processes and data in a systematic way, and to achieve compliance with legal requirements and the major international Standards for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management. It focuses upon the fields of Environment, Energy, Health and Safety and Quality (SHEQ), ICT Security and Corporate Social Responsibility following a comprehensive approach.

The PROMIS system is being developed specifically to provide SMEs and their consultants with easy access to tailored services to respond to the increasingly complex pressures of regulation.

PROMIS® is first of all the products of a highly professional and dedicated team consisting of gifted and motivated individuals in the company, and a cluster of well-known consultants outside it, that participate to the setting up of PROMIS® specific services and to the organization of their commercialization. They are a multinational and multi-disciplinary team, reflecting the demands of the heterogeneous SME market and their need to ‘go international’. Their culture and approach accordingly encompass interdisciplinary teamwork, multilingualism and the capability to understand and respect sectoral and national differences, while striving to integrate commonalities at European level. They have a proven track record of developing web 2.0 multimedia interactive portals and cooperative working tools for research and industry, Internet based cost-benefit analysis tools; conducting training seminars, organizing symposia and conferences, performing data analysis and managing multimillion projects. The team has gained experience at international level dealing with the practical problems – both financial and methodological – of European SMEs facing the processes of internationalisation.

In 2009, DG Enterprise selected PROMIS among the 50 best eBusiness cases in Europe (www.promis.eu).
The quality of the services is underpinned by a pool of consultants and subject matter experts who are qualified following CEN guidelines (www.cen.eu).
